Monte gave me a new digital camera for my birthday. I am having great fun with it, especially the video function. Here's a little video of our trip to the Christmas tree lot this past weekend.

We all watched this together, and Harper had a running commentary at each tree you guys looked at: "I like *that* tree!" "I like *that* tree!" Maybe he should have gone to the lot with yall.
By the way, this kind of thing happened to my parents at the tree lot so many years that they finally started buying their trees at Costco, where the trees are all tied up already and you pick one and then bring it home and cut the ties and you just get what you get. Apparently this new tradition did great things for their marriage.
This had me laughing outloud. I especially enjoyed how you would turn and grin at the camera- very cute. And I think you made a good choice. I"m supposed to get a tree any day now- I'll have to let you know how my experience compares to yours!
